13 : Jup, So-Dar, So-Purakh, Sohila

$0+

The first 13 pages of Guru Granth Sahib contains the compositions namely Jap, So-Dar, So-Purakh, and Sohila, which are part of daily Nitnem (Sikh Prayers). This book is an attempt to understand the meanings of these poetical compositions. The literal translations have been deliberately avoided. The meanings have been written in such way so that any one can understand them. This book here is in Punjabi language. No one has ever claimed that whatever meanings they have deduced are the last. No one can do it now, and even in the future. I too do not claim that my interpretations are the final. This is a lifelong learning process. This book is my humble effort to provide the readers a perspective to see the lessons of Gurbani. Everyone is free to read, experience and develop their own thoughts. Let us read, understand, and live Gurbani.
